Banque Du Caire was established as S.A.E. with L.E.o.5 million totally owned by Egyptian Investors group.

After Suez Canal nationalization Banque Du Caire was one of the Egyptian Banks who financed the cotton instead of the ForeignBanks inside Egypt who refused to finance this strategic corp.

This year was considered as the most important year in Banque Du Caire life when the foreign Banks has been egyptianized where Banque Du Caire bought two important French Banks :

- Comptoir National D'escompt de paris.

- Credit Lyonnais.

Banque Du Caire attended important economical events during that period as it was always ready to cover that period's requirements in the frame of the specialised financing of the various economical sectors which were outlined by the government for each Bank.

Banque Du Caire started to strengthen its relations with all thepublic sector entities, which became free to deal with any Bank after the specialized financing has been cancelled.
