Qahera Cash is a Mobile wallet that is used by an application that is downloaded on a mobile phone that facilitates various financial transactions in easy and safe way. After fund the wallet you can pay bills, transfer to other wallets and buy goods from stores and the Internet.

Qahera Cash wallet subscription steps

  • Customer should visit the nearest Banque Du Caire branch and fill out the service application to subscribe to the service and sign the terms and conditions.
  • Subscription is free and available from 16 years old.

Required documents to subscribe to Qahera Cash wallet

  1. A valid National ID.
  2. A registered mobile number with one of the telecom operators with correct customer information.

Feeding Qahera Cash wallet options

  • You can link any Banque du Caire card to QaheraCash wallet by contacting Banque du Caire contact center or visit the nearest Banque du Caire branch.
  • Deposit through the Teller located at Banque du Caire branches.
  • Through ATMs of the Banque du Caire or any ATM with Meeza network logo.
  • Visit any of Fawry or Aman branches to deposit funds into your wallet.

Withdraw from Qahera Cash wallet options

  • Withdrawal through the Teller located at Banque du Caire branches.
  • Through ATMs of the Banque du Caire or any ATM with Meeza network logo.
  • Visit any of Fawry or Aman branches to withdraw funds from your wallet.

ATMs cash out (cash withdrawals) steps

First: create one-time password (OTP) through the QaheraCash application by following these steps:

  1. Open QaheraCash application and enters the PIN code "M-pin".
  2. Enter the main menu and choose “Cash out".
  3. Enter the amount to be withdrawn and press "one-time password".
  4. Confirm "one-time password" by entering the "M-pin".
  5. Pop-up message will be showing the “one-time password".

Second: To carry out cash withdrawal from the ATM machine.

  1. Choose cardless services from the ATM.
  2. Choose the "Cash out" option.
  3. Enter the mobile number registered with QaheraCash.
  4. Enter the "OTP" one-time password generated from the application.
  5. Enter the amount to be withdrawn.
  6. Receive cash from the machine.
  7. Receive receipt showing withdrawal process status.

ATMs cash in (cash deposit) steps

First: Create one-time password (OTP) through QaheraCash application by following these steps

 

  • Open QaheraCash application and enters the PIN code "M-pin".
  • From the main menu, choose “Cash In".
  • Enter the amount, then press "Generate OTP".
  • Confirm generating "one-time password" by enter the "M-pin".
  • Pop-up message will be displaying the “one-time password".

Second: To carry out cash In transaction from the ATM machine

  • Choose cardless services from the ATM.
  • Choose Mobile Wallet.
  • Choose "Cash In" option.
  • Enter the mobile number registered on QaheraCash.
  • Enter the "OTP" one-time password generated from the application.
  • Deposit the amount in the place designated for deposit in the machine.
  • Receive the receipt from the ATM.

Money transfers (P2P) through Qahera Cash wallet steps

  1. Open QaheraCash application and enters the PIN code "M-pin".
  2. Choose "Send".
  3. Enter the second party wallet number.
  4. Enter the amount to be transferred and press send.
  5. Confirm transaction with wallet "M-pin".
  6. Pop-up message will confirm the successful transfer.

Mobile recharge or bill payment through QaheraCash wallet steps

  1. Open QaheraCash application and enters the PIN code "M-pin".
  2. Choose "Pay".
  3. Choose "Services".
  4. Choose the required service from the list of services available.
  5. Confirm transaction with wallet "M-pin".

BDC loan installments payment steps through Qahera Cash app

  1. Open QaheraCash application and enters the PIN code "M-pin".
  2. Choose "Pay".
  3. Choose "Services".
  4. Choose loan collection.
  5. Choose BDC Loan payments.
  6. Enter the customer national ID related to the loan owner.
  7. Check the due loan installment amount (Weekly adjustment is made automatically).
  8. Confirm transaction with wallet "M-pin".

Purchase from merchant (P2M) through QaheraCash wallet steps

  1. Open Qahera Cash application and enters the PIN code "M-pin".
  2. Choose "Pay".
  3. Choose "Store".
  4. Choose "Scan QR Code".
  5. Scan the merchant QR Code.
  6. Enter the amount.
  7. Confirm transaction with wallet "M-pin".

Buy online through Qahera Cash wallet steps

  1. Open QaheraCash application and enters the PIN code "M-pin".
  2. Choose "Pay".
  3. Choose "online card".
  4. Choose "Generate Card".
  5. Enter the card amount and select Generate.
  6. Confirm transaction with wallet "M-pin".
  7. Pop-up message will confirm the successful generation.

The generated Card is available for use within 24 hours only.

Maximum number of wallets allowed for one person

  • Each person can register 3 wallets on his / her national ID, with 3 different mobile numbers.

Resetting the wallet "M-pin"

  1. Customer can call the contact center or visit the nearest branch.
  2. Confirmed all personal data.
  3. The wallet "M-pin" is reset at the same time.

Changing the wallet "M-pin" steps

  1. Open QaheraCash application and enters the PIN code "M-pin".
  2. Enter the main menu and choose “settings".
  3. Choose change M-pin.
  4. Enter old M-Pin.
  5. Enter new M-PIN twice to confirm.

Wallet suspension in the case of loss or theft of the mobile devise steps

  • Call the contact center (16990) and provide your data and the contact center agent will suspend the wallet.
  • After getting a new mobile phone call the call center (16990) and provide your data and the contact person agent will activate the wallet.

Qaheracash un-register steps

Customer will have 2 ways to un-register his wallet

First:

  • Visit any branch of Banque Du Caire.
  • Cash out the available balance in your wallet.
  • Complete the cancellation form.
  • The branch agent will close the wallet immediately after confirming your data.

Second:

  1. Open QaheraCash application and enters the PIN code "M-pin".
  2. Enter the main menu and choose “profile".
  3. Choose ‘’ Unregister’’.
  4. Enter the wallet number.
  5. Enter wallet M-Pin.
  6. Choose ‘’ send verification”.
  7. Enter the verification code.
  8. Chose ‘’unregister’’.
  9. The wallet will be deleted immediately.

Access your accounts from a secure connection

  • Never access your QaheraCash wallet over an unsecured or public Wi-Fi.
  • Access your QaheraCash wallet from secure or private network there is a low risk of getting your information stolen this way.

Create and use a strong password

  • Create a strong and unique password consist of 6 numbers.
  • You should plan to change this password regularly.
  • Do not keep your password on mobile.
  • Do not share your password with anyone.
  • Do not use easy numbers as an M-PIN, for example: 111111 or 123456.
  • Please call BdC contact center at 16990 if your password has been stolen.

Monitor your wallet

  • Check your wallet on regular basis at least once a week.
  • Look at all of your transactions history and make sure that they’re legitimate.
  • Make sure that you report anything suspicious to BdC call center.

Use the trust mobile app for bank

  • Download QaheraCash application from trusted stores “Play store / Apple Store / Huawei Store”.
  • Download any updates this will help to ensure that the security certificates are up to date.

Lock your devices

  • Always lock any devices you use to access your QaheraCash service.
  • You should use a password, fingerprint, or PIN to open your device.

Keep your devices updated

  • Download the latest security updates to secure the device that is used to interact with QaheraCash service.

Always logout

  • QaheraCash application has an automatic feature that logs you out after a set period of inactivity.
  • You must log out each time you finish your session.

Use Anti-virus software

  • Install and activate updated version of Antivirus on your devices to prevent malware or spyware infections.
  • Set your mobile application & mobile software to search for new updates automatically.
