Dear customer,

There are hearsays of hackers breaching fraudulent contacts via internet, SMS and phone calls, identifying themselves as banks representatives in order to seize any information possible from customers regarding their accounts.

These hackers usually ask for information such as account numbers, national ID number, username of account, account PIN, debit card, etc.
Justifying the fraudulent contact with many and different reasons.

  • As you know, Banque du Caire never ask for personal or private information or data on the phone, online or via SMS.

Important protection points

  • Be discreet about your pin number along to other numbers, names or codes of the service in which you are subscribed.
  • Do not disclose to any calls, emails or SMS requesting data or information about your accounts, and block/erase them instantly.
  • Be careful with your internet downloads from insecure sources.
  • Add anti-viruses software to protect your computer.
  • Run periodic scan to your device to detect any viruses that may occur.
