UNEP FI Principles for Responsible Banking

This report marks the first progress report for Banque du Caire (BdC) on its implementation of the Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB). The report highlights the initiatives and measures taken by BdC to progress towards implementing the Principles, paving the way towards a journey for responsible banking. In accordance to the UNEP-FI guidelines, the progress toward the PRB shall be integrated into the bank’s annual reporting/ annual sustainability report. BdC applied the Portfolio Impact Analysis Tool (Version 2), which was developed by the Positive Impact Initiative, the signatories of the Principles for Responsible Banking, and the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP-FI).
